These terms are an agreement between you and Finscious Innovations, a sole proprietorship of Aryan Babar in India, which runs Finscious. By using the Finscious app you accept them.
The service
Finscious is a household cash-flow manager. It shows what is left to spend today, what you spent and what is safe to spend, the payments coming up, your entries, monthly reports and your plan. It is not a bank, a payment service, an investment adviser or a lender, and it never moves your money.
Not financial advice
Nothing Finscious shows you is financial advice. Its figures are estimates based on what you enter, on bank messages it recognises and on suggestions from AI help, and they may be wrong or incomplete. Check them against your own bank statements before you act.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- You sign in with Google; there is no separate Finscious password.
- You are responsible for the information you enter and for checking entries, including those Finscious saves for you from bank messages or from what you say (from app 1.7.0, one recording can hold several entries), and for using Undo or editing them if they are wrong.
Your data and your phone
Your money data is kept on your phone. If you lose your phone, uninstall the app or delete your data without a backup, it cannot be recovered, because we do not hold a copy of it that we can restore. Turning on backup to your own Google Drive, and keeping access to your Google account, is your responsibility. Our Privacy Policy explains what the app sends to Google Cloud, and when.
Pay now
Pay now records a payment you are about to make and opens the payment app you choose. The payment itself is made, and succeeds or fails, in that app and under that app's own terms; Finscious does not make it, check it or guarantee it. If a payment did not go through, remove the entry that Finscious recorded.
Price
Finscious is free. It is on Google Play now, and a paid household plan comes later. Nothing is charged today and no payment details are asked for. Before anything is charged, we will publish new terms and ask you to accept them.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse, disrupt, copy or try to break into Finscious or its services, or use it unlawfully.
No warranty, limited liability
Finscious is provided "as is" and may contain errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from relying on it. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by agreement, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Ending
You can stop at any time by deleting your data in Settings and uninstalling the app.
Earlier versions
Earlier versions of Finscious (including GCS Finscious and Pay Smart) are no longer part of Finscious, and these terms do not cover them. If you used one, see the Earlier versions section of our Privacy Policy.
Law and changes
The laws of India govern these terms, and courts at Thane, Maharashtra have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer forum where you live. When these terms change, we update the date and version above. The current terms are always in the app under Settings > Legal, and on this page.
